Create playlists, save a queue, and find your music from Discord or the web.

Create and manage playlists

  • /pl create <name>: creates a personal playlist.
  • /pl add <playlist> <song or URL>: adds music.
  • /pl all: shows your playlists.
  • /pl detail <playlist>: lists the saved songs.
  • /pl savequeue <playlist>: saves the current session.
  • /pl remove and /pl delete: remove songs or a complete playlist.

Use the web app

Public playlists can be discovered without signing in through Explore. Your personal library, favorites, and editing controls require Discord sign-in to protect your data.

Tip

Use clear names, add a cover from the web library, and publish only the playlists you want to share with the community.

Playlist and queue are different

A playlist is a saved collection; a queue belongs to a server's session. Adding music to a playlist does not start playback, and changing the queue does not necessarily modify the collection. Use a separate test playlist when several people rely on the same session.

Example: keep music from a gathering

  1. Create a playlist with /pl create. Use a short name: the command accepts up to 16 characters.
  2. Run /pl all and copy its ID.
  3. During an active session, use /pl savequeue and fill id with that identifier. You must be in the required voice channel.
  4. Check the result with /pl detail before stopping playback.
  5. Use /pl import with the ID to bring the saved collection into a queue. This command imports a Tainy playlist into the session; it is not a generic file importer.

Share carefully

Review visibility, description and cover before sharing. Use only images you may publish, and do not put private information in names or descriptions. Public visibility does not give every visitor editing permission.

Creation limits depend on your account and its benefits. If you reach a limit, review existing collections before creating duplicates. Deleting a playlist is different from removing a track: check the ID and preserve anything you want to keep before confirming deletion.
