Account information, listening activity, external services and privacy choices.

Scope and contact

This page explains information processing when using the Tainy bot and website. The Tainy team handles questions and requests through Contact. Identify the affected account or server and what you need; never send passwords, tokens or cookies.

Data depends on the feature you use

Sign-in uses Discord: your identifier, name, avatar and the server and permission information needed to check access. Tainy does not need your Discord password. The session uses authentication credentials stored in the browser.

Music features may store history, favorites, playlists and preferences. Profiles, comments and other posts contain information you choose to provide. Chat, support and reports process messages and attachments to provide those features. Technical logs may include IP addresses, requests and errors to operate and protect the service.

Public visibility

Profiles, playlists and posts you share may be visible to others according to their visibility settings. Do not publish sensitive information. Dashboard access restrictions do not make a publicly shared post private.

Providers and integrations

Hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare process requests to serve and protect the website. Discord handles authentication, servers and voice playback. Music searches, images and links may involve communication with providers. Loading remote content may disclose your IP address and technical request data to its provider.

Optional integrations such as Last.fm use necessary information when you connect them. Purchases are processed with the corresponding payment provider and generate transaction records. We do not sell your personal data. This does not mean that no provider processes information to deliver the service.

Cookies, storage and advertising

The browser stores session information and preferences such as theme and language. Infrastructure layers may use security and measurement mechanisms subject to their own policies.

This version does not enable Google ads or AdSense advertising cookies. The ownership verification tag does not mean advertising is displayed. If AdSense is enabled in the future, Google and other providers may use cookies, identifiers or IP addresses to deliver and measure ads; configuration and consent notices must be prepared before activation.

Retention and requests

Retention depends on the feature, service operation and applicable obligations. Removing the bot or signing out does not automatically delete all records, posts or backups.

You can request access, correction or deletion through Contact. Account ownership may need to be verified for security. Some requests may be subject to technical, security or legal limits; the team should explain them in its response.

You can review shared content visibility, disconnect available integrations and sign out. Do not publish other people's information without authorization. Policy updates will be identified by their revision date.
